
Kuzun-Laza HIKING TOUR
Kuzun and Laza are among the remote villages of Azerbaijan in Gusar region close to the border with Russia. Kuzun is 1280 meters above sea level situated on the bank of Gusar river. Due to researchers Kuzun originates from a word Kazin in turkish languages which means plateau of a mountain. Laza village is located on the foothills of Gizilgaya and Kabash mountains at altitude of 1300 m on a mountain ravine. There are waterfalls between the villages and around the Laza village. Hiking will start from Kuzun to Laza by the shore of Gusar river, along with outstanding nature sceneries for 5-6 km.

07:00 – Gathering outside of Ganjlik metro station in front of Caspian center
07:30-10:00 – Baku-Gusar
10:00-10:15 – Kuzun village – Transfer by a village vehicle
10:30-15:30 – Hiking to Laza village from Kuzun village passing by the waterfall
15:30-18:00 – Lunch, tea break, inside games, entertainment, outdoor activities etc.
18:00-18:15 – Transfer to Shahdagh tourism complex by off road cars
18:30-21:00 – Back to Baku
